I can honestly say from my own personal experience with it, Acupuncture is the best treatment for heel pain because it treats what is causing it and not just treating the symptoms. It's a pretty easy fix since the culprit is often tight calf muscles, however, there is usually some lower back muscle tightness involved which I would treat for you as well.
